As a culminating activity for Autism Acceptance Month, Hillside Grade School held its second annual Autism Acceptance Walk on May 20.
Students in grades K-6 came together to walk around the perimeter of the school field in support of autism awareness and acceptance. Before the walk, students participated in a brief presentation highlighting the importance of kindness, inclusion and respecting individual differences. The event was coordinated by the school’s Building Leadership Team.
