Before embarking on their future college and career experiences, graduating seniors at New Hyde Park Memorial High School revisited where their educational journeys began by participating in heartwarming Clap-Outs at their elementary alma maters on June 18.
At each building, the youngest learners in the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park community lined the hallways to congratulate the seniors. The graduating students walked the halls of their elementary schools, receiving cheers and high-fives from students and hugs from their former teachers.
