Hillside Traffic Safety
As you know, the safety and security of all students and staff must be the first priority of every school. Recently, you may have noticed a police presence outside of our school at arrival and dismissal. We are working in conjunction with the Nassau County Police Department, Third Precinct, to obtain assistance in promoting a safe arrival and dismissal for all of our students and staff.
Your continued cooperation in following all the “rules of the road” is necessary to be sure that all members of our school community are safe.
At all times, please be sure to refrain from the following:
double parking your vehicle
making U-turns
leaving your car unattended
blocking any driveways
parking in front of the fire hydrant
permitting your child(ren) to exit out of the driver side of your vehicle
