Summer Recreation Program 2022
Dear Parents and Guardians:
The New Hyde Park- Garden City Park School District will once again be offering a self-sustaining Summer Recreation Program for district resident students currently attending Pre-K through 5th grade in our district. The program will run from Tuesday, July 5th, 2022, through Monday, August 1st, 2022 at the Garden City Park School. Children can be enrolled for either a half-day session from 8:30- 11:30 or a full-day session from 8:30-2:30. Tuition rates will be $250 for half-day and $500 for full-day.
All Registration forms, Emergency Contact forms and payment are due by Monday, May 23, 2022. No refunds will be issued after Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
**Please note students currently attending Pre-K are eligible to attend the program**
Come join us for some summer fun! We have Drawing; Arts and Crafts; Lanyard; Karaoke; Dance; Wii; Juggling; Indoor and Outdoor Recreation; Games; Sculpting, Dominoes; chromebooks and a whole lot more!!!
A full staff of counselors & supervisors will provide 4 weeks of fun and games for all!!
**All children attending must return a completed registration form and an emergency contact form in order to be registered in the program. Your child will not be considered as registered until we receive both forms along with your payment.
** Parents will receive an email with further information about your child’s group numbers, line-up procedures
etc. after the conclusion of the school year during the week prior to the beginning of camp.
** Please note that there is no transportation provided for the summer recreation program
** Please note that there is no lunch provided. Children will need to bring snack, lunch, and water
**Children who are attending any of the district run summer instructional programs are eligible to attend the recreation program as well. The children will be bused from the summer school program over to our program at the completion of the other programs each day.
