Garden City Park School » Building Level Team
The Building Level Team (BLT) consists of parents, teachers and an administrator who volunteer to participate in a shared decision making process. The BLT establishes goals for the school year and plans of action necessary to meet those goals. The BLT also establishes subcommittees, when needed, to study or plan a particular project.
New volunteers are sought each year. You may wish to join the Building Level Team or one of its subcommittees. Meetings are scheduled before or after school at the convenience of the members.
On April 14, 2008, we had our first ever “Game Day!” It was our attempt to teach children both indoor and outdoor games in order to provide ideas for alternatives to watching TV during “Turn-Off Your TV Week.” These links are copies of most of the game rules. I encourage families to play some of the games together during the week off and beyond. Family game time is very fun and educational as well.
